Exhale is built to need as little of your information as possible. There is no account to create, no login, and no profile stored on our servers.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter while using the app is saved on your iPhone, and in your own iCloud if you use it. It is never sent to us:

• Your quit date, what you were using, how much of it, and what it cost
• Your streak, the milestones you have passed, the cravings you have logged and any slips you have recorded
• Your reasons for stopping, including the name of a person if you entered one
• Your preferences, such as which reminders are switched on

Deleting the app removes what is held on the device, and Start over in Settings erases it from your iCloud as well. We cannot recover any of it, because we never had it.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never see or handle your payment details. To manage subscriptions and check whether yours is active, we use RevenueCat, Inc. as our subscription provider. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier for your installation together with purchase events (which product was bought, renewals, cancellations) and basic device information such as the country and iOS version. It is not linked to your name or email, and we do not use it to advertise to you. RevenueCat's own privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled on your device by your device. Their wording is assembled on your iPhone from your own plan, including the name you may have entered. No reminder passes through a server, and none of it reaches us.

What we do not collect

• No tracking across other apps or websites, and no advertising identifiers
• No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access
• No third-party analytics or advertising software

Children

Exhale is intended for adults who use nicotine. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
